Lots of descriptions and pictures of the MI beaches can be found on the web, but mostly the "standard" beaches are described and depicted. Here you find a more complete series of photos in an ordered fashion, and obviously there will be a guide book soon. Never seen a better collection of photos on this subject.

If you want to see the photos starting from the north going around the island clockwise, look at them from A to JK:

Outstanding video tour of the playas of Margarita. Have visited most and am struck by the opportunity they afford. Alas political, social, and financial realities squelch the dreams.

There is an old story that goes like this. God was creating the world and did so alphabetically. Argentina got the vast fertile pampas, Canada was given abundant water, Mexico silver, Saudi oil etc. etc. When it came to Venezuela far down the alphabet there came a whining complaint hey those countries got so much whats left for us. So God feeling sorry gave Venezuela a portion of everything , beautiful beaches, a perfect climate, oil, gold, snow capped mountains, fertile plains etc. etc. Then the other countries complained that Venezuela had everything. So God in his wisdom evened things up and filled Venezuela with Venezuelans.

Hola admin drop me a line. Am renovating the house. Miguel is fine.
Looks like the poor who supported Chavez may finally have lost faith. Hopefully the system is not so deeply entrenched that it cannot be removed.

That photo survey of the beaches is the best group of photos I have ever seen. I only saw 8-10 of those when I was there.
Thank you so much.

There seems to be a book, too, describing most of the beaches. Unfortunately it is in German, the English version is still being edited. Watch for it on payloadz.com, the German book is here: http://store.payloadz.com/detail_html.asp?Id=807972

Just saw the English version for sale and downloaded it, very good reviews of the most popular beaches and many others that are more or less unknown. Also some general information useful not only for "beginners"...

You find it here in two versions, one for printing in high quality and one for reading on the screen:
